He’d be able to walk around freely, and not having the British openly threatening to raid the Ecaudorian embassy to arrest him.

His crime? Embarrassing governments for telling the truth. That is his crime. The Swedish stuff is laughable and a lie. Kudos to Ecuador for standing up to the bullying of the United States, something the UK, Australia, and Sweden are evidently too cowardly to do.
