"President Obama, who came to office promising transparency and adherence to the rule of law, has become the first president to claim the legal authority to order an American citizen killed without judicial involvement, real oversight or public accountability."

I think this is a falsehood. Every president has carried out these sorts of attacks. Just look at South America in the 1970’s, when a thousand mysterious air accidents killed socialist politician after socialist politician. That was us, ladies and guys.
Obama is the first to publicly and transparently announce that yes: we kill people without trials. We always have, and we likely always will. At least it’s out in the open, now. At least we can confront it.

And how precisely do we confront such a problem when the progressive party in American politics appears to agree with the GOP on the matter? When civil libertarians stand alone on this issue, the road to fixing this cancer is most difficult.

Pretty sure part of being Pro-Life would mean to oppose assassinating American citizens without due process and proper Constitutional protections. Someone might want to tell that to the Sweater Vest.
